What if I’m not planning to return to Auckland City or Christchurch City once I’ve hired my camping equipment?
If you’re planning to tour New Zealand and leave from a city other than Auckland or Christchurch, you will need to make sure you drop off your hire package in one of these cities before you leave New Zealand. Alternatively, you can talk to us about arranging pick-up from a different location (additional charges will apply).
Can I cancel my order once I've booked?
Of course! You can cancel your order at any time. To cancel an order, simply email us with your booking reference number (issued when your booking is confirmed) and we'll refund your deposit minus the cancellation charge:
31 days or more before collection date: Full refund less NZ$50 admin fee
21-30 days before collection date: 80% refund less NZ$50 admin fee
10-20 days before collection date: 50% refund less NZ$50 admin fee
Less than 10 days before collection date: Sorry, no refund

What if I'd rather organise my equipment once I've arrived in New Zealand?
You can contact us once you've landed, but we highly recommend you make a booking before you arrive. This way, we can guarantee we'll have the package that best suits your needs ready for you upon arrival.
Remember - we only ask for 50% deposit up front with the remaining amount due once you've sighted the camping, tramping and mountain bike hire equipment. And of course, you can cancel your order at any time should your plans change for any reason (cancellation fees apply).
What if I’m not sure where I’ll be staying when I first arrive?
If you book accommodation before you leave home, send us an email including your full name and we’ll confirm your delivery address, date and time by return email.
If you arrange accommodation once you’ve arrived in New Zealand, call or email us with your address details 24 hours before you need the equipment.
Please note: to ensure we have the camping, tramping and mountain bike hire gear you want when you need it, you’ll need to make a booking in advance. If you don’t pre-book there is a chance we won’t have your desired equipment in stock Book now to avoid disappointment.
How do I return my camping, tramping or mountain bike hire equipment package?
When you reach the end of your journey and arrive back in Auckland or Christchurch, we can arrange collection – whether that’s from a downtown hotel or hostel, car rental depot, Auckland Airport or Christchurch Airport.
When your gear is delivered we will confirm the pick-up location, date and time with you. If you need to change these details for any reason, you’ll need to contact us at least 24 hours in advance by telephone.
